STUDENTS
Our students' passions help define us.
Mount St. Joseph Academy students are encouraged to enjoy a number of different activities.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES AT MSJ
Participating in athletics, music programs, drama, and co-curricular activities benefit students by teaching them new skills, exposing them to new ways of thinking, and building bonds that last a lifetime.
MSJ encourages all students to participate a variety of activities to enhance their educational experience.

Community Service
MSJ fosters a sense of gospel-based service. This service is rooted in the two greatest commandments “to love God with your whole heart and soul” and “to love your neighbor as yourself.”
Student Ambassadors
Student ambassadors represent MSJ to visiting families and students. They volunteer to ensure that everyone visiting the school is welcomed by a student who understands the value of an MSJ education.
Student Government
Student government allows students to step into leadership roles. Students gain an understanding of the the MSJ Mission, servant leadership, social justice, meetings and agendas, and public speaking.
School
Dances
MSJ hosts a series of dances, including a Homecoming Dance in the fall and a Prom in the spring. MSJ students may invite one guest from another school to attend.

The
WaveRiders
This student leadership group is made up of student government, student ambassadors and National Honors Society members. These young leaders are divided into three branches: service, outreach, and activities.
