Every Mount St. Joseph Academy student is provided a Chromebook for use in school and at home.
Providing students with a Chromebook promotes learning and good study habits as students have ready access to materials wherever they are.
Google Apps is a cloud-based collaborative suite of tools that includes email, calendar, web pages, word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, and many more tools. These tools allow students to work in groups or create documents. The Chromebooks offer a long battery life and store information in the cloud. This allows students to work from any location that offers Wi-Fi and helps students avoid lost work due to hard drive failure or a misplaced laptop.
We ask that every student read and sign the Technology Use/Device Contract, which should be completed electronically on ParentsWeb. A device contract is required for students to access Mount St. Joseph's Academy's electronic network.
Chromebook insurance can be purchased through the Worth Ave. Group online. In order to complete the online insurance application, you will need the correct model number and serial number for the Chromebook you are insuring.
