Mount St. Joseph Academy has released its annual report for fiscal year 2017-18. MSJ enjoyed another successful year in enrollment, academics, athletics and development. The full annual report is available here.
The highlights of 2017-18 include:
Nearly all of the members of our Class of 2018 went on to pursue their dreams at four-year institutions. The schools they are attending include Auburn University, Castleton University, College of St. Joseph, Gordon College, Miami University of Ohio, Penn State, University of Nebraska, University of Vermont, and Word of Life Bible Institute.
We continued our tradition of strong athletic programs with the 2017-18 Girls Basketball team going on to win their fourth-straight state championship. We also saw the return of MSJ boys soccer. Congratulations to all of our athletes on their individual and team success.
MSJ enjoyed an increase in enrollment for the fifth consecutive year.
The generous support for the 2017-18 annual appeal led to excellent results in Development. Our alumni gave back $162,663, and community supporters and friends of MSJ gave an additional $32,142. Scholarship support for our students remained strong, with donors providing $89,461 to help students in need attend MSJ. We also enjoyed a successful first year of the Veritas et Puritas Society, MSJ’s planned giving program. Thank you to the five members who signed on in 2017-18.
