
Michael Christopher Blais, Jr. is Mount St. Joseph Academy's Class of 2020 Valedictorian.
A resident of Mount Holly, Michael is the son of Maria and Michael Blais, Sr. Michael attended Christ the King School prior to his enrollment at MSJ, where he maintained High Academic Honors throughout high school and was a member of the Josephite Chapter of the National Honor Society. In addition, Michael was Team Captain in Cross Country and Indoor Track and won the Marble Valley League's Cross Country Championship in 2016. An active four year participant in the MSJ Band, Michael was a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and selected as an MSJ Student Ambassador as well.
Most recently employed at the Rutland Regional Medical Center, Michael is a Green and Gold Scholar who will be attending the University of Vermont to study Nursing in the fall.

Emelia Marie Tooley is Mount St. Joseph Academy's Class of 2020 Salutatorian.
A resident of Proctor, Emelia is the daughter of Mellissa and Christopher Tooley. Emelia attended Proctor Jr./Sr. High School prior to her enrollment at MSJ, where she maintained High Academic Honors throughout her high school career and was a member of the Josephite Chapter of the National Honor Society. In addition to her academic success, Emelia was a Varsity member of the Indoor and Outdoor Track, Tennis and Cross Country teams. Emelia was an actor, stage manager and student director in MSJ's Shoestring Theater and, with four year's participation in Band and Chorus, she was an original member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. She was elected Junior Class Representative and was selected to represent MSJ as a Student Ambassador. Emelia is the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen's Award and the VSAC - Phil Hoff Vermont Honor Scholarship. She will be pursuing a nursing degree at the University of Vermont this fall.

Benjamin Pencak was selected as Mount St. Joseph Academy's Class of 2020 Veritas et Puritas Award recipient.
A resident of Rutland, Ben is the son of Gregory and Joanne Pencak. Ben attended Christ the King School prior to his enrollment at MSJ, where he maintained High Academic Honors and was a member of the Josephite Chapter of the National Honor Society. In addition, Ben earned Varsity letters in Cross Country, Alpine Ski Racing and Baseball; he was captain of these teams, and was a Vermont State Championship qualifier in skiing. A four year member of the MSJ Band, Ben is a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society; a Boy Scout, Ben is currently completing the requirements for the Eagle Scout Award as well.
A Student Ambassador - representing MSJ to the community - and a volunteer at the Rutland Regional Medical Center. Ben is the recipient of the Vermont Scholar Award and will be studying Nursing at the University of Vermont in the fall.
