Mia Jepson is named Mount St. Joseph Academy 2025 Valedictorian

Mount Saint Joseph Academy is proud to announce Mia Jepson as the Valedictorian for the Class of 2025.
Mount Saint Joseph Academy is proud to announce Mia Jepson as the Valedictorian for the Class of 2025.

Mia is the daughter of Lori Cillo and Lyle Jepson of Rutland, Vermont. 


While in attendance, Mia maintained the highest Academic Honors throughout her career and was a member of the Rutland Area Robotics FRC Team 2370 the IBOTS, Yearbook, National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, volunteer for Camp Thorpe clean up, counselor for Wonderfeet Robotics Camp, volunteer for CEDRR Parade of Heroes and Whoopie Pie Festival Downtown Rutland, volunteer for Come Alive Outside Magical Mischief Community Event, mentor for the Rutland Area Robotics FLL Pre-program, volunteer for the Rutland Area Robotics Southern Vermont FLL Qualifying Event, and dog rally. 


Mia will be attending Champlain College in the fall.




Mount Saint Joseph Academy is proud to announce Kaitlin Sulik-Doty as the Co-Salutatorian for the Class of 2025.


Kaitlin is the daughter of Christine Sulik and Russell Doty of Whiting, Vermont. 


While in attendance, Kaitlin maintained the highest Academic Honors throughout her career and was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society, the National Art Honor Society, and the Student Ambassador program, as well as the Middlebury Swim Team. 


Kaitlin will be attending Pennsylvania State University in the fall.



Mount Saint Joseph Academy is proud to announce Maura Whitman as the Co-Salutatorian for the Class of 2025.


Maura is the daughter of Marc and Laura Whitman of Rutland, Vermont. 


While in attendance, Maura maintained the highest Academic Honors throughout her career and was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, MSJ Shoestring Theatre, speech and debate club, National Honors Society, and tennis. 


Maura will be attending Saint Anselm College in the fall.



Mount Saint Joseph Academy is proud to announce Luke Martin L. Locsin as the Veritas et Puritas Award recipient for the Class of 2025.
Mount Saint Joseph Academy is proud to announce Luke Martin L. Locsin as the Veritas et Puritas Award recipient for the Class of 2025.

Luke is the son of Ana and Martin Locsin of Rutland, Vermont. 


While in attendance, Luke maintained high Academic Honors throughout his career and exemplified the foundational values of the Academy in word and deed. Luke was actively involved in a variety of clubs and activities including, Vice President of the MSJ Student Government, MSJ Student Ambassador, Secretary of the Josephite Chapter of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and President of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. 


Luke also participated in numerous athletic and extracurricular activities such as the Vermont Martial Arts Academy, Boy’s Tennis, and Boy’s Basketball. Luke also served as a dedicated altar server during his four years for all school Masses. Luke is currently volunteering at the Junior Volunteer Services program at the Rutland Regional Medical Center and the Rutland Community Cupboard. 


Luke will be attending Franklin Pierce University in the fall pursuing a major in biology for pre-med track.
