A son, John ‘Jack’ Raymond Fortier, was born on July 10 to Sarah Bride ’99 and Keith Fortier. Sarah is a History and English teacher, as well as the Dean of Women and the Women’s soccer coach at MSJ. Jack is the grandson of John ’66 and Eileen McCue ’64 Bride.

Bridget Austin Denhoy ’83 and her husband Raj announce the birth of twins, a daughter Asha and a son Kieran born on June 21, 2007. They reside in New York City.

Amy Creed Carroll ’93 and her husband Dennis have recently moved to Rutland and have bought a home in the area.

Matthew Rogers, DDS ’94 has begun a two-year Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopedics program at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center.

Laura Beth Kelly ’03 graduated from St. Michael’s College in May, 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She begins teaching fifth grade this Fall at the Good Shepherd Catholic School in St. Johnsbury, VT.

Michael Colomb ’64 graduated cum laude from Castleton State College in December 2005 with BA in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. He now resides in the Mohave Desert and works at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, CA.

David Parento ’88 recently received his MBA from Stanford University and is working in Louisville KY. He will be married in September 2007 to Emily Whelan, a Notre Dame graduate who is practicing law in Louisville.

Adam M. Davis ’90, a graduate of Hobart College in 2003, received his Masters Degree in Journalism from Roosevelt University in Chicago in May, 2007.

Francesca Bove ’03 graduated magna cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts in May, 2007. She will be spending a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps at Covenant House in Newark, New Jersey.

Meghan Keenan ’02 graduated in May 2007 from Stonehill College in Massachusetts. In September she will be pursuing her Masters Degree at Providence College and teaching at a Catholic school under the auspices of a program sponsored by the college. She will be living in No. Attleboro, MA.

Andrew Costello ’95 has been named the new Rutland City Attorney. He graduated from the University of Vermont and received his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law.

Kathleen Farrell ’02 received her BS in Nursing from the University of Vermont in May, 2007. She has begun a nursing staff position at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in the vascular and transplant unit. She is living in Enfield, NH.

Anne Marie Mercer Scheuermann ’58 was inducted into the New England Women’s Hall of Fame on Nov 5, 2006 at the Woodland Golf Club in Newton, MA. The Hall of Fame recognizes contributions to women’s athletics. Anne Marie was a gifted golf instructor and had great success coaching the Stowe MA High School golf team. She, her husband Peter and daughter Gretchen own and operate the Highlands Golf Park in Ruckersville NC.

Wanda Bride ’68 was the recipient of the Presidential Award for outstanding service at Duke University. Wanda is the cardiology clinical operations director of Duke University Hosopital’s Heart Center. Awardees are selected by University President Richard Brodhead. The award is the highest possible employee award at Duke.

Jim Kelly ’61 was inducted into the Arkansas Swimming Hall of Fame this past April at the organization’s annual banquet. In his college years, Kelly swam for St. Bonaventure University while studying for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. He has headed the Hendrix College swimming and diving program for 25 years.
